ProofKit Resume Filler (MV3)
=============================

What it does
- Step 1: with your proofkit.store/builder tab open, click "Save my builder
draft" in the popup. It reads the draft you typed (name, contact, summary,
experience, skills, etc.) and keeps it in YOUR browser storage (chrome.storage.local).
- Step 2: open any application form and click "Fill this form". The extension
matches fields by label, placeholder, name, and autocomplete hints and fills
the first matching control per field. You review, then submit.

What it does NOT do
- No uploads. There is no server call in either step; nothing leaves your browser.
- No form database, no auto-submit. It fills; you still press the button.
- Fills the first matching field per section - complex multi-entry ATS forms
  may need manual cleanup.
- Not on the Chrome Web Store yet. That listing takes a review cycle; until
  then you sideload this zip.

Install (Chrome, Edge, Brave - any Chromium browser)
1. Unzip this folder somewhere permanent (e.g. Documents/proofkit-filler).
2. Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions, brave://extensions).
3. Turn on "Developer mode" (toggle, top right).
4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder (the one containing
   manifest.json).
5. Pin the puzzle-piece icon, click ProofKit, and follow the two steps above.

Privacy
- Permissions: storage (keep your draft), activeTab + scripting (read the
builder draft and fill the form you are looking at), host <all_urls>
(the fill button must run on whichever application site you opened).
- The extension never phones home. Verify in the source: popup.js and
fill.js contain no fetch() calls at all.
