ProofKit

Human review · $7 · included monthly in Pro

When a real person reads your resume, they see things the scanner can’t.

The 23 checks are mechanical. A human reviewer catches what they can’t: the story that doesn’t add up, the bullet that undersells real work, the ordering that makes a good career look scattered. A written reply - the three highest-impact fixes for YOUR resume, with the reasoning spelled out. Not generic advice, not a score, not a promise.

Pro includes one review per calendar month - the button books yours, no checkout. Everyone else pays $7 per review. Written reply within two business days; it lands in your sign-in email.

What you get

Three fixes, with reasons. That’s the product.

01

A human read

The person who built ProofKit reads your resume top to bottom - the same way a recruiter would skim it, then the way a hiring manager would study it.

02

The top three fixes

Rank ordered, specific to your file: change this line, cut this section, re-order these two. Each with the why, so the next fix becomes obvious too.

03

Plain delivery

By email, to the address on your receipt. Two business days. If something in your file is genuinely confusing, we ask before guessing.

How it works

Pay, and we find your resume.

  • If you were signed in when you paid, we read your latest saved resume from your account - nothing else needed.
  • If you weren’t signed in, we email you within a day and you reply with the file or paste the text. Either way works.
  • Then you get the written review by email, and you can reply to that email with follow-up questions about the notes.

This is a service done by a person, so fulfillment is manual by design - we’d rather say that plainly than pretend there’s an automated pipeline behind a human opinion.

What this is - and isn’t. It is one reviewer’s honest read of one resume. It is not a guarantee of interviews or offers, and nobody can honestly promise that. It is not a rewrite - we tell you what to change and why; you keep the pen. If you think the review missed the mark, reply to the email: we’d rather re-read than have you keep a bad review.

Questions

What people ask before paying.

Who is doing the reading?
The person who built and maintains ProofKit. One reviewer, no subcontracting, no “team of experts.” You can check the work: every review cites specific lines from your resume.
Can I get a refund?
Email within 14 days of delivery and you get it, no interrogation. If we’re slow - past two business days - say the word and it’s refunded, whether or not you ask nicely.
Should I buy this or Pro?
If you’re on Pro, use your included monthly review - the button above books it, no payment. Extra one-offs stay at $7, and Pro is better value if you’re scanning weekly.
